March 23, 2022 11:00 AM
The V-Force Youth Movement took a compassionate stride towards assisting ordinary Sri Lankans who endure long queues under the scorching sun while waiting for daily essentials like fuel, cooking gas, and kerosene. Recognizing the hardships faced by these individuals, Gammadda V Force Volunteers stepped up at short notice to alleviate their burden by distributing chilled bottles of water at various locations across Sri Lanka.
In an exemplary display of responsibility, the volunteers ensured that the used bottles were collected and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. This endeavor received tremendous support from both individuals and organizations, including American Premium Water, who joined hands to contribute to the water distribution effort.
The distribution took place at designated queues in major cities such as Colombo, Gampaha, Kurunegala, Kandy, Badulla, Kalutara, Matara, Rathnapura, and Galle. Over the course of March and April, this compassionate initiative expanded its reach, offering relief and refreshment to those in need.
